Children explore
Open-ended materials, movement, stories, creative expression and indoor and outdoor experiences give children room to make choices, solve problems and share ideas.

Learning at A.C.E
Children learn through play, relationships and the freedom to explore. Educators notice what matters to each child, then create experiences that invite another question, idea or discovery.
Five building blocks
A.C.E uses the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) to guide planning, play and everyday interactions.
Children build a strong sense of who they are and where they belong.
Relationships connect children with people, community and the wider world.
Secure relationships support emotional wellbeing, resilience and physical confidence.
Curiosity, persistence and active exploration help children test their ideas.
Language, listening, expression and early literacy grow through everyday experiences.

Learning in practice
Open-ended materials, movement, stories, creative expression and indoor and outdoor experiences give children room to make choices, solve problems and share ideas.
Educators listen to children’s voices, notice their interests and development, and plan experiences that can deepen the learning already taking place.
Fresh experiences
Special visitors and incursions bring new sounds, ideas, animals and cultural experiences into the centre. A.C.E’s published program includes:

Belonging expands
Experiences across the centre help children see themselves as part of a wider community.
Across ages
Children have their own age-based rooms, with opportunities to come together at points in the day. These moments can support sibling connection and help children practise patience, care and confidence with others.

Caring for the natural world
Gardening, planting, composting, recycling and caring for living things give children practical ways to understand responsibility and sustainability.
A warm welcome awaits
Visit A.C.E, explore the rooms and discover how play, relationships and responsive planning shape each day.
